The Rebuild Chronicles:
Episode 1 (Gut and Cut)

We saw a lot of progress with the new build in the past two months. With the new car obtained we proceeded to gut and hack away in preperation for moving the engine back an additional 10 inches. In total, the engine will have been moved back 21 inches from its original position. To put that in perspective, the shift lever is now where the emergency brake bolts to the chassis.

With the engine moved further back we needed to relocate the alternator to the passanger side to prevent it from hitting the steering column. In addition the manifolds were slighly modified to fit better and a race spec wastgate from HKS was added to help manage the extra power the car will be making.

Further modifications include a longer steering column, better race seats and individual brake lines.
